Introduction

Brunei Darussalam Road Safety Council was established since 17th November 1977.

The purpose is to maintain a highest level of road safety for Brunei Darussalam with the recognition that education plays a key part in maintaining these high standards of safety.

The Council have undergo continuous training to be kept informed of new and improved safety standards, legislative changes and international best practices to reduce the incidence of death and serious injuries.

Since it's establishment the Council and Committee activities are now much more organised and professional and recognises the need for each individual authority and organisation to understand and respect the role each one has to play.

The Council has brought about changes that have seen the number of people killed on our roads each year to reduce.
